Our Principal
With a business base developed through 30 years of experience in hundreds of companies, Tom Wersten, Principal of Applied Thinking Skills, has developed a keen sense of how to help organizations improve performance by focusing on refining the way people gather, organize, and analyze information as well as how business concerns are identified and resolved. He has trained and worked with people from the Board room to the shop floor. Tom’s ability to understand an organization’s issues and then target skill development toward how the organization works has led to significant client process improvements.
Tom led the National Accounts team during his many years with Kepner-Tregoe, Inc., a Princeton-based consulting company, producing outstanding results with such clients as Eastman Kodak, IBM, Corning, and others. From his manufacturing experience at Kodak to CEO of his own retail business, Tom has never lost focus of the power of people to achieve better results with better thinking skills.
